Here is what we are doing to protect our customers…
We are continuing to respond to the latest government and public health advice to protect the health and wellbeing of all of our customers and colleagues.
To attend to an emergency call out we will, first like to gain as much information as possible.
We will try to do this over a phone call, video WhatsApp call or over Zoom. This is to help us to get a better understanding of the problem, this will enable us to be able to bring the correct parts on the first visit.
We would also like to know the location of your boiler within your home. This is to avoid you needing to show us when we arrive.
All our engineers are following government guideline to keep you safe whilst they attend your home. These are the steps we are currently taking to keep everyone safe;
Wearing latex gloves.
They are using new gloves, washing and sanitising their hands with gel between each home visit. If they leave your home, to collect parts for example and then return they will also change their gloves and sanitise their hand’s again.
We are calling customers when we arrive outside. This is to allow the customer to open the front door and then return into another room and close the door.
We are asking all customers to ventilate the rooms we will be in before we arrive. Please leave the windows open.
We are also asking you to wipe over the area where the boiler is located with some antibacterial spray before we arrive.
We will spray over and wipe the areas we have been in contact with before we leave.
Card payments can be taken over the phone once we have left your house. This is so we can comply with the 2 metres distancing rule. We will also be able to inform you of the work that we have carried out when we call.
